Position Information

Cardiff Public School is located in Lake Macquarie North and has a current enrolment of 237 students across 10 classes. 10% of students identify as Aboriginal or Torres Strait Islander and 8% of students have language backgrounds other than English.

This position will commence at the start of Term 1, 2019.

Selection Criteria

1) Approval to teach infants and primary with a demonstrated ability to develop and deliver high quality, engaging and differentiated teaching and learning programs, with an emphasis on literacy and numeracy.

2) Demonstrated ability to implement a range of assessment strategies, and to analyse assessment data to inform teaching practice.

3) Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively and build positive relationships with all stakeholders.

4) Demonstrated capacity and willingness to enhance and support the school's extra-curricular activities in dance and public speaking.
