Holmes Institute, one of Australia's leading private education providers, is seeking well-qualified, experienced and motivated lecturers for its thriving Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane  campuses. The successful applicant/s are required to deliver in our Business and Accounting degrees at both undergraduate and postgraduate level.

We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic professionals who can enhance our students' learning experience with their expertise and enthusiasm. Excellent communication skills, the ability to inspire, engage students and to present subject matter in practical ways, are important criteria for the successful candidates to demonstrate.

We are inviting from appropriately qualified and professionally experienced people to undertake teaching on the upcoming semester which will start on  23rd of July 2018 for the following subject areas:

• Economics
• Accounting (Financial and Management Accounting)
• Accounting Information Systems
• Auditing
• Finance
• Law (Business and Corporations Law, Taxation)
• Statistics
• Business Ethics
• Information Technology

Required criteria:

• Master degree in Accounting or Finance or Business (for undergraduate level teaching);
• PhD in Accounting, Finance or Business  and/or Master degree plus extensive work experience (for postgraduate level teaching);
• Lecturing experience of at least two years at degree level in Australia;
• Experience in subject coordination;
• Experience teaching international students;
• Experience in the use of Blackboard and a range of other learning technologies
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal and communication skills and an ability to work independently and collaboratively with others
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and ability to meet a strict deadline

Desired criteria:

· Professional Accounting affiliation (CPA, ICCA);

· Research portfolio;

· Experience mentoring students;

· Superior time management and organisational skills.
