Job tasks and responsibilities
We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Educators to join our School Services team. The School Services programs run in many schools throughout QLD, NSW and Victoria providing sexuality and relationship education programs based on a sound educational principle to assist children and families address specific questions children have around gender, sexuality and communication.
The position is responsible to conduct education programs for students, parents and community members as required and to promote Interrelate materials & services.
There may be some evening work involved and the need for some administrative tasks to be completed from home.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role you will need to meet the following 5 Key Requirements:
- Tertiary qualifications in Education/ Social Sciences or other related discipline
- Experience in classroom management and working with children
- Experience in program development, implementation and review
- Experience in group work and facilitation
- Knowledge of and the ability to communicate on sensitive issues for children in the areas of relationship education, personal and health development
