The Opportunity
Foundation Early Learning are seeking a rare and exceptional Lead Educator. As a Lead Educator you will design, implement and evaluate programs for children that encourage them to explore. Additionally, you will support the educators in their application of these programs and make any variations to meet the developmental needs of each child.
Your experience
You will have a deep understanding of, or a willingness to gain the understanding of Pikler practices and pedogogy in primary caregiving.
You will have an approach that allows for purposeful observation of the important development processes of each individual baby and toddler. You won't be someone who rushes, forces or intervenes in their self-paced development. You will have extreme respect of infants and toddlers with undiscovered knowledge and ability.
As the first point of contact for parents, exceptional communication skills and the ability to build rapport quickly is essential.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in an Lead Educator role;
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent;
- Current Senior First Aid and CPR Certificate;
- Current Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management;
- National Police Clearance Certificate;
- Current Working with Children Card;
- Alcohol and Illegal substance clearance;
- Good knowledge of the Early Years Learning and National Quality Framework.
