We are currently looking for Part Time Educators to work within various services across the Western Sydney region.  The successful candidate will be available to work before and after school care Monday to Friday as well as various hours during vacation care.

About your new role

We are looking for committed Educators who have experience and knowledge around before and after school care, your main role will be to ensure the safety of all the children under our care whilst in our service. 

You will have the opportunity to work across our various services across the Western Sydney area.  Sites include Blacktown, Claremont Meadows, St Marys and Surveyors Creek.

All our centres offer a close knit, family like environment and provide you with lots of learning opportunities through YMCA to ensure your growth within the organisation. 

In your role you will also ensure

• The safety, security and wellbeing of the children in our care are protected
• The service policies and procedures are in place and followed
• Services offered reflect the multi-cultural diversity and holistic ethos of the community
• Services create and deliver high quality and age appropriate programming
• A child friendly, inviting and clean environment is maintained
• Children are provided with interactive and stimulating activities
• The interaction with children is continually positive, sensitive and respectful
• Staff connect and respond to families and internal/external stakeholders

To be successful in this role, you will come with

• HLTAID004 First Aid
• Ability to recognise the needs of children and skills to nurture and support children to the service
• Experience working in a similar environment (desirable but not essential)
