TasTAFE is seeking to appoint a Teacher to work within our Built Environment Team, teaching the national Building Surveying qualification: CPC60115 Advanced Diploma of Building Surveying.
To teach in TasTAFE teachers must have Teacher Registration with the TRB and hold a current Working with Vulnerable People card.
Salary Range: $61,144 to $94,804 per annum
Employment Type: Fixed Term, Full Time – 70 hours per fortnight
What you will bring
- Demonstrated level of knowledge and skill, relevant to Building Surveying.
- Ability to communicate and work co-operatively with other team members and relate well with students in an adult teaching environment.
- Personal skills of flexibility, initiative and innovation.
- Suitable vocational experience within the Building Surveying Sector.
- Membership of a relevant industry association, and have current registration on the National Building Professionals Register in the Building Industry Control category (level 1) or be accredited under the Australian Institute of Building Surveyors (AIBS) National Accreditation Scheme at Building Surveyor level.
