Due to the continued growth of our registered training organisation, the Australian Retailers Association - Retail Institute seeks a contracted retail trainer to deliver our 'Retail Ready' programs in Sydney and surrounding areas to deliver retail training.
About the Role
With a well established relationship with national JAPs, the ARA Retail Institute is delivering retail training to the Jobseeker market. We are seeking trainers who are driven individuals, with a strong commitment to providing quality training in a supportive and professional manner and who have an interest in providing assistance to the Jobseeker market.
You will also have a sound understanding of the various needs of individuals who are re-entering the labour market (including disadvantaged and disengaged youths, individuals with disability and individuals with diverse cultural backgrounds and linguistic capabilities).
About the Training
These pre-employment programs are normally 3-4 weeks in duration at a time - 5 days a week in a classroom environment.
Training locations will vary and can be located in Sydney and surrounding areas to deliver retail training (some travel may be involved).
Work based training experience would be an advantage.
Essential Criteria
- Certificate lV in Training & Assessment (TAE40110 as a minimum)
- Retail qualification
- Strong background in Retail and or Hospitality
- Accredited training experience, preferably with jobseekers
- A sound understanding of the various needs of individuals who are re-entering the labour market.
- The capacity to engage groups with quality and dynamic presentation skills.
- Flexibility to deliver whole programs
