Your new company
This Exceeding rated long day care centre in Mascot is looking for an experienced Centre Director to join their team. There is free onsite parking, as well as having excellent public transport links near by.
The centre is part of a new and growing organisation, so this position would suit someone who is looking for career progression in the future. You will be supported in your role by an experienced Operations Manager who has a clear passion for high quality education and will give you the ownership required to progress your team and centre how you see fit.
Your new role
As the Centre Director you will be responsible for the day to day operation of the centre. You will be supported with administration duties by your 2IC and Educational Leader, delegating responsibilities that match their strengths, allowing you more time to mentor educators and strengthen relationships with families.
The Operations Manager is passionate about upskilling their Directors, so you will have the opportunity to attend paid national Managers meetings every 6 weeks, which will include professional development training, networking with other Directors and sharing new ideas with sister centres.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience as a Centre Director
- Early Childhood Teacher degree or Diploma in Children’s Services
- Excellent leadership and mentoring skills
- Ability to take ownership for day to day running of the centre
- Strong knowledge of regulations and EYLF
