In line with recent growth, the Office of Digital Solutions is currently on a transformation journey towards becoming a value adding strategic partner. The Communications and Events team plays a significant part in this transformation, recognising that effective communication and engaging events are critical for our ongoing success.

The opportunity

A key component of the role will involve communicating to both internal and external stakeholders the benefits that the Office of Digital Solutions and the Library provides to the University through our events and social media. The role will develop audience appropriate digital copy for our online newsletters, social media and digital spaces.

The appointee will co-ordinate events, develop and maintain web, print-based and video communications, including research reports and summaries, material from and for conferences, seminars, workshops, and video interviews. Previous experience using Cvent is desirable.

This is a fixed term (until March 2019), full time position based at the Nathan campus.

About you

You will be an energetic and motivated creative professional with experience in running events and writing social media/communications within the higher education industry. You will have high level organisational skills and a flair for the written word. Your proficiency across a selection of software applications and excellent interpersonal skills will enable you to get the job done, to a high standard, and on time.

Salary range

HEW Level 6: $74,972 - $80,042 per annum + superannuation.
