Nido Early School has been offering premium childcare services to families since 2014, following the Italian principles of the Reggio Emilia Philosophy.
We are now seeking a passionate Curriculum Leader for our Exceeding Centre in Hocking. As Curriculum Leader, you will provide leadership in the development, implementation and review of educational programs in order to create rich educational experiences for the children in our care.
Key Accountabilities:
- Lead the Educators in the implementation, evaluation and delivery of educational programs, whilst ensuring they are in line with EYLF, NQF and the Reggio Emilia approach.
- Work closely with the Executive Centre Manager to ensure the Centre operates successfully.
- Build and maintain meaningful relationships with all children and their families by promoting and engaging them in the educational program.
- Inspire, mentor and encourage Leading Educators and Educator Assistants, by role modelling correct practice.
- Assist on the floor as required to cover absent team members.
- Early Childhood Teaching Degree or Diploma in Early Years Education
- Previous experience in the Child Care Industry and sound knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Demonstrated experience in creating and implementing educational programs for children
- Knowledge and understanding of Reggio Emilia
- A current Working With Children Check
