OOSHC 2IC and Casuals
Little Grommets OSHC
Little Grommets is seeking a 2IC and Casual Educators for the Banora & St Ambrose Pottsville Services.
Little Grommets is an outstanding OOSHC service that provides families with Before School Care, After School Care and Vacation Care. In which we provide a unique and high standard of care.
Little Grommets has an excellent and well-established program, in which we pride ourselves in building strong relationships with children and families and providing a fun and healthy environment for children.
We are seeking a 2IC and a few Casual Educators. We are after committed people that are willing to stay long term and be part of the team.
KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to commit to split shifts; shifts times include and these may vary accordingly to staff requirements.
- BSC: Monday – Friday 6:30- 8:30
- ASC: Monday – Friday 2:00/2.45/3.00 – 5.30/6:00
- VAC: Monday – Friday will depend on roster set, hours between 7:00 – 6:00 –
- Cert 4 in OSHC or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable) or
- Cert 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care, actively working towards Cert 4 in OSHC or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (related to 2IC position)
- Cert 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care (desirable) or
- Actively working towards (minimum)Cert 111 in Early Childhood Education and Care (related to casual positions)
- First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training (004)
- Current working with children check
- Respond to young children at risk
- Sound knowledge of My Time My Place and the National Quality Standards
- Proven ability to design and implement learning and leisure programs
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Proven ability to mentor staff and foster a strong team environment
- Excellent communication skills
- Long term commitment
