Trainer & Assessor – Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing)
Challenge Employment & Training (CET) is a Not for Profit RTO with a well established reputation throughout Qld. CET delivers funded training through User Choice Contracts to Australian apprentices and Trainees, Cert 3 Guarantee and Skilling Queenslanders for Work.
We are a modern and diverse education institution that emphasises innovation and excellence in our educational programs.
We are looking for a suitably qualified trainer and assessor to deliver CHC33015 - Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing) for an upcoming Skilling Queenlanders for Work program on the northside of Brisbane
Ideally we are seeking trainers with a background and/or experience in delivering Certificate III Individual Support including electives in Aging.
-Essential Requirements
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40110 or TAE40116, including unit TAELLN411)
- Relevant vocational qualifications
- Sound understanding of the Community Services Industry in Aged Care.
- Proven recent and relevant industry experience
- a current ABN
- Current Drivers Licence

Duties will include:
- Facilitating delivery and assessment
- Planning and preparation, including developing/modifying training & assessment resources
- Marking student assessments in a timely fashion
- Maintaining student records of training and competencies achieved
- Build and maintain client relationships
- Evaluating programs, moderation and validation where/when required
- Contributing to Challenge's mission
