The Organisation:
The position is working for a well renowned not-for-profit organisation who offer community based programs such as early childhood, school age care as well as education and training services to the local community.
The children services alone offer high quality care and education to over 500 children per day.
The Centre:
The centre is well established and very connected to their community, which caters for 47 children each day.
The centre operates 51 weeks per year and is open from 7:15am - 6:15pm, Monday to Friday.
The Role:
We are seeking a passionate and engaged Director to lead the centre on a full-time permanent basis.
You will be responsible for ensuring that high quality care and education is provided.
You will ensure the centre is compliant with the EYLF, NQS and Education and Care Services National Law & Regulations.
The role will also included standard Nominated Supervisor duties such as leading and mentoring a dynamic team, developing collaborative relationships with Families and the local community.
You will also have the role of Educational Leader for the service which will see you actively involved in the curriculum programming and planning cycle.
Your skills with leading, mentoring and developing connected relationships within the centre team, children and families will be essential to your success in this position, as we believe the people in our centre are the most valuable part of it.
While this is a non-teaching position it is expected that you will be actively present on the floor to guide practice, ensure compliance and so you have a sound understanding of the centre at all times, as well as covering absences where needed.

- MINIMUM of a Bachelor/Master's degree in Early Childhood Education (Overseas qualifications are accepted if they have been approved by ACECQA)
- New Graduates with previous centre management experience are welcome to apply.
- Must hold a current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, Anaphylaxis Certificate.
- Substantial experience working with children and supporting positive behaviours.
- Working With Vulnerable People's Check.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards.
- Sponsorship on offer for the right fully qualified and suitably experienced candidate.
