About Us
We are seeking a passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. We are a purpose built Early Childhood Education and Care Service, based close to local parks and cafes and easily accessible by public transport. We are a service with a rating Exceeding National Quality Standard.
Our collaborative environment ensures we are progressive in our knowledge in Early Childhood. We offer progressive meals prepared by our onsite chef, a resource rich environment and an Inquiry Curriculum.
The Role
- We are looking to appoint a Diploma level Early Childhood Educator who is confident and has an understanding of respectful practice with children.
- Working as 2IC to the Room Leader, you will be involved in leading the classroom team and curriculum.
- A passion for providing quality early childhood curriculum
- Enthusiastic, motivated, professional, flexible, and reliable.
- Previous experience in educating and caring for children
- Able to work in a passionate, committed and highly driven team of educator.
- Knowledge and relevant skills in documenting children's learning through observations.
- Planning and implementing a quality educational curriculum
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework, National Quality Framework and National Regulations
- Ability to use PC and iPads
- Ability to form and maintain professional relationships with families, children and other Educators
About you
Essential requirements for this position are:
- Diploma of Children's Services (or working towards)
- Completed Child Protection course
- Current approved first aid certificate, CPR, anaphylaxis and asthma management certificates
- Working with Children Check
- The ability to understand and implement EYLF & NQS requirements
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to interact well with children and build positive relationships with families
- Experience in observing, programming and planning to meet children's individual needs
