Status has made a significant impact in the delivery of training to the most disadvantaged people in the community. Our services include Language, Literacy and Numeracy, along with Industry Training and are tailored to ensure our students build pathways to employment. With service delivery sites at Modbury, Salisbury, Elizabeth, Marion and Noarlunga we have over 500 students enrolled in training each week.
An exciting opportunity currently exists for a skilled Industry Trainer to join an established team of professionals in our busy RTO, and play a vital role in the overall success of our Organisation. A key area for engagement will be conducting assessments in accordance with the Training package requirements, including online submissions.
You will have:
- Previously delivered Aged Care and/or Disability training
- Strong links and current experience working within the Aged and/or Disability Care industry
- Be able to assist in the identification of employment opportunities
- Ability to promote trainees to industry and employers
To be successful in this role, you will need to demonstrate proven experience in training and employment in Aged and/or Disability Care, display strong initiative and a willingness to support and facilitate long term outcomes. You will have Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE), relevant industry qualifications or demonstrated equivalence and a DCSI child related employment screening or willing to obtain one.
A background working with disadvantaged clients, would be strongly considered, but is not essential. So, if you are loyal, ambitious and highly organised with excellent administrative, computer and communication skills and are looking for your next challenge, then this could be the role for you!
