About this Opportunity:

Alphacrucis College (AC) is seeking an experienced Program Administrator to join our enthusiastic and committed Registry team, at the Parramatta campus.  Reporting to the Assistant Registrar in the Academic Administration Department, the primary focus of this role will be the responsibility of processing, maintaining, and ensuring the accuracy of all student records related to their program.

 

This is a full time 12 month contract role based in the Sydney (Parramatta) campus.

 

Responsibilities:

The key responsibilities of the Program Administrator include (but are not limited to):

  • To process student applications, cross credit applications, enrolments, grades, and other student information as required;
  • To maintain quality and accuracy of student records in Alphacrucis College’s student management systems;
  • To assist with relevant government reporting requirements;
  • To process the monitoring of attendance;
  • To assist with correspondence from the Student Affairs Committee;
  • To process the monitoring of grades and the communication of intervention strategies;
  • To assist in the process of organizing the event of Graduation for applicable students, and ensuring those students are eligible to graduate;
  • To assist in ensuring systems and procedures are in place to manage the above functions effectively;
  • To implement and adhere to the policies and procedures of Alphacrucis College;
  • To accept any other such duties as may from time to time be determined by your management and/or direct supervisor.

 

To be successful for this position you will have:

  • Excellent administrative skills.
  • Skilled at communicating politely and diplomatically.
  • Proficiency in computer skills. This includes knowledge of Microsoft Outlook and other Office programs, Moodle, Asana and GSuite.
  • Proven organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Punctuality and diligence.
  • Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality pertaining to work-related communication and student information.
  • Positive attitude under pressure and flexibility when accepting tasks.
  • Active orientation to continuing personal and professional development.
  • Commitment to the Christian faith that informs one’s professional and personal choices and commitments.
  • Affinity with the values and traditions of AC as a Pentecostal college.
  • Familiarity with schools, higher education and vocational education systems and processes

 

KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

  1. Exceptional organisational and planning skills, and proven analytical and problem solving skills.
  2. High interpersonal communication skills (both written and oral) together with exemplary customer service and the ability to relate professionally to colleagues and students.
  3. Experience in an administrative role which required the ability to follow established processes, proactive problem solving skills, coordination of a range of functions and provision of advice about, and interpretation of, policies and procedures, preferable in a tertiary education institution.
  4. Demonstrated initiative, sound judgement, discretion and confidentiality.
  5. Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
  6. Detail your capacity to be part of a Christ-centred organisational culture (i.e. details of any Christian faith, values or church involvement, or of your willingness to be part of a Christian organisation).
