The Office for Research supports the University's research endeavours through a range of activities including administration of research grants and contracts. The Office for Research is the primary contact with external funding bodies.

The opportunity
The primary role of a Research Grants Officer is to provide high quality pre-award and post-award grant administration services to the Griffith University community and key stakeholders. The objective is to increase external funding of Griffith University research, and ensure that the University maintains a good reputation for effective research grant management and administration.

This is a full-time, continuing position based at either the Nathan or Gold Coast campus and will require travel between campuses.

About you
To be successful you must have research grants administration experience in a central office of a university, medical research institute or similar organisation supporting health and medical researchers. You must have knowledge of research grant funding opportunities, application processes and post-award management.

Salary range
HEW Level 7: $82,578 - $89,464 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation contribution: $96,616 - $104,673 per annum.
