SHECC (Southern Highlands early childhood centre) is privately owned and family run and our aim is to provide early childhood care and education in a safe, welcoming, adopting and nurturing environment.

The Role

We are currently looking for passionate qualified Qiploma or certificare 3 Educators to come and join our teams on a part time (2 to 3 days) maternity leave 6 to 12 months cover basis. We are also looking for full time trainee to join in our team. These roles are all working rotating rosters as we are open from 7.30am until 5.30pm.

Being an Educator will see you:

• Create a stimulating, positive and appropriate environment to foster and support development
• Conduct observation and evaluation of children's development (Qualified Qiploma or certificare 3)
• Provide physical care, assisting children in daily routines and meal times
• Respond to the emotional needs of the children 
• Maintain up to date records for each child within the group 
• work experience with all age groups children (Qualified Qiploma or certificare 3)
• Confidence and leadership ability (Qualified Qiploma or certificare 3)
• Excellent communication skills with staffs and families.
• Experience documenting learning outcomes(Qualified Qiploma or certificare 3)
• Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high quality care.
• A working knowledge of the New Quality Framework, EYLF and NQS (Qualified Qiploma or certificare 3)
• Current First-Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training.
