Senior Maths/Science Teacher | United Arab Emirates

The requirements

We are looking for an experienced senior teacher maths/science (physics or chemistry) that is energetic, positive, flexible and has a passion for learning and striving for excellence - both in teaching the students as develop personally and professionally yourself.

To be a successful applicant you must have the following qualifications and experience/attributes

• Hold a relevant Bachelor in Education OR a degree in the teaching subject area + a Graduate Diploma of Education
• Have experience working with and excellent knowledge of the Australian Curriculum
• A minimum of 3 years experience as a Senior Teacher (yr 11/12)
• A current valid Teachers Registration
• Cultural awareness and sensitivity as you will be working in a different country
• Under 62 years of age due to visa restrictions

Desirable experience

• International experience, either through working or traveling abroad
• Working with the International Baccalaureate
• Having taught the Queensland Senior Schooling Curriculum (Maths A+B+C and senior science)
