About the opportunity 


The eLearning Project Officer manages the provision of technical and operational support for elearning infrastructure across Professional Medical Education (PME) degree and short course programs.


Reporting to the Director Professional Medical Education you will:

  • Develop, test and implement elearning resources for PME programs
  • Provide technical support and troubleshoot issues with the Learning Management System, eLearning tools and resources including Turnitin and online examinations
  • Provide advice regarding elearning innovation and implement new technologies and educational design solutions to improve learning outcomes and enhance the student experience
  • Provide expert advice, training and support to staff to make the best use of educational technology to deliver engaging and effective courses.

This is a part-time, 0.5FTE fixed term position until 31st December 2019.


About you

  • Tertiary qualifications in education and/or information technology with well- developed technical knowledge acquired through work experience; and/or equivalent combination of relevant experience and training
  • Extensive experience with implementing and supporting a range of elearning tools and resources
  • Experience with managing technical and operations support for elearning programs, preferably in a tertiary education environment
  • Extensive experience with using Learning Management Systems, preferably including Canvas
  • Knowledge of elearning policies and processes within a tertiary environment
  • Excellent time and workload management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise effectively, manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines and achieve required outcomes.
