About The Centre
SDN Pyrmont is a 38 place centre and caters for children from birth to school age. SDN Pyrmont opened on 23 August 1993 in the old Pyrmont Public School, a building designed in the Victorian Italianate style by the NSW Schools Architect.
About The Role
To work as part of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children and to support the implementation of an approved learning framework.
SDN Pyrmont is currently looking for a qualified and experienced Educator (Certificate III) to work in the 3-5 years space. This is contract role until June'2019 with possible extension. The centre has good access to public transport.
About You
- Certificate III in Children's Services
- Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable)
