About the Centre
SDN Beranga is a purpose built, specialist centre for children with ASD located in Rooty Hill. It offers early childhood education and child care for 27 children daily, and offers early childhood intervention services.
About The Role
To work as part of a team which provides high quality early childhood education and care to children and to support the implementation of an approved learning framework.
SDN Beranga is looking for a full time, qualified and experienced Educator for a maximum term contract until June, 2020. Experience working with children with autism would be preferred. SDN pays above award rates and the centre is well connected to public transport.
About You
- Certificate III in Children's Services
- Current Working with Children's Check (NSW)
- Knowledge of the National Quality Standards
- Knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework
- Experience in a similar role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Current Senior First Aid Certificate
- Asthma and Anaphylaxis certificates (preferable)
