Catholic Education Tasmania (CET) is one of Tasmania’s largest non-government employers. It supports over 16, 000 students in Catholic Schools and Colleges. 

This vital position reports to the Director: Learning and Teaching and is accountable for the management of all matters relating to the education of students requiring additional support.  This includes professional support to key teachers, special learning needs coordinators, Principals and leadership teams.

The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate professional educational leadership and the following technical capabilities:

  • a strong commitment and well-developed capacity to role model Catholic values as defined within our vision
  • expertise in supporting students with additional needs including individual learning plans
  • self motivated and committed to a team environment to deliver effective Learning and Teaching outcomes
  • ability to establish networks, build strong relationships and engage with stakeholders to achieve quality outcomes

The successful candidate will demonstrate extensive relevant experience and hold post graduate qualifications in Learning Support, Psychology or related discipline.
