The Opportunity
The Faculty of Information Technology is seeking a Professor to strategically develop the area of Information Studies. The Professor will manage and develop academic staff to help them achieve their full potential in terms of research and teaching, and identify training and development needs and opportunities.
Looking to appoint a Professor, the Faculty of Information Technology is seeking a true academic leader. Candidates will be expected to demonstrate a strong track record of research and teaching in Information Studies, with a specific focus on record keeping and its relationship with cognate disciplines as well as proven experience providing strategic and day to day leadership of fellow academics, ideally on an international level. The role calls for a strong background in archival science that is recognised by the international academic community.
As the successful candidate you will be able to clearly articulate your research passion as well as your vision for the future for Information Studies at Monash. Your experience mentoring academics will serve you well in this leadership focused role.
