We are a well establish Registered Training Organisation that provides nationally recognized courses from a number of national training packages offer to international students.
Our training services specialize in accredited, competency-based training which is considered essential in enhancing individual career opportunities and organization staff skills. Supported by a team of highly qualified trainers with current industry experience in the areas we train.
Currently, we are seeking Trainers/Assessors in one of our campuses to deliver and assess the following courses:
- General English (Starter to Advanced)
- BSB40215 - Certificate IV, in Business
- BSB51915 - Diploma, A. Diploma Leadership Management.
- BSB42415 - Certificate IV, Diploma, A. Diploma in Marketing and Communication
- CPC30211 - Certificate III in Carpentry
- CPC30611 - Certificate III in Painting and Decoration
The successful candidate will be a mature team player, with a good attitude and adaptable to a diverse work environment; has an awareness of student learning needs from different backgrounds and a passion to facilitate learning and communication with international students.
You'll be responsible for:
- Delivering course training to students using a variety of delivery methods (e.g. Classroom, Workshop based etc).
- Providing feedback and mentoring to students to assist them in their learning.
- Assessing students, according to standards.
- Keeping high student satisfaction and client satisfaction levels.
- Promoting HIC and courses in the wider community, as required.
- Undertaking professional development and keeping industry skills up to date.
To be considered for an ELICOS trainer position, applicants need to have following:
- a degree or diploma of at least three years full-time or equivalent (teaching or other)
- a suitable TESOL qualification or qualification that contains TESOL as a method (i.e. CELTA, Certificate IV in TESOL or a university qualification which includes TESOL studies)
To be successful in this role you will have:
- Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE) or equivalent / higher.
- Demonstrated high level integrity and ethical standards.
- Australian Vocational qualifications, at least to the level being delivered or assessed.
- Minimum 3 years of local practical industry experience.
- Sound knowledge in the units being delivered
- Proven ability to design training and assessment resources
- Experience working within culturally diverse communities
- A positive and can-do attitude.
- Patience and be willing to support others
- Good leadership and communication skills
- A commitment to following best practice and providing high quality service
- A commitment to continuing professional development
- A commitment to complying regulations and standards, in both construction and training environments.
