We are looking for a talented Instructional Designer to join the Open Program division. You will play a pivotal leadership role in how learners engage with our Open programs.
As Instructional Designer you will be responsible for:
- Developing and deploying a best practice model, achieving consistency through standard design templates and systematic work practices
- Designing and building high quality e-learning, blended learning and face-to-face curriculum resources and assets in Moodle.
- Working closely with SME’s to design high quality curriculum including subject outlines, learning outcomes, lesson plans, assessments tasks (including marking rubrics), and supporting resources
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience, with a proven ability in eLearning, Curriculum development and project deployment
- Experience in curriculum mapping and/or auditing
- Demonstrated e-learning project management experience from creation through delivery, including ability to meet deadlines and manage multiple stakeholders.
- Expert level understanding of Moodle (or similar) and learning management system tools with a demonstrated user experience focus
- Strong communication skills
- Experience in developing simulations, videos and other engaging material
- Extensive knowledge and experience with online learning and teaching resources, processes and systems and best practice instructional design principles
- Demonstrated understanding of adult learning principles and their application to online and blended learning environments
Desirable
- Education qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience in the Adobe Creative suite, including Photoshop and Premiere Pro
- Familiarity with Salesforce
