Training Manager Position
- Permanent full-time position
- Base annual salary starting at $67,129 with career pathways to $88,342 dependent upon experience and qualifications

Allowance paid for use of personal laptop, internet and mobile phone usage
Regular training and professional development provided
Five weeks leave per year (plus 17.5% leave loading)

About the role
Safe Places for Children provide children in care with individualised therapeutic residential services across Australia. Our goal is to offer every child in our care a solid foundation upon which to build a bright future. We recognise that the ability to fulfil this goal relies on fostering an environment which develops staff and encourages the highest quality standards. We operate in partnership with Seed Skills Pty to deliver training and ongoing mentoring to our Youth Workers and Case Managers. Our Trainers not only work in the industry, they love the industry and offer a wealth of experience to ensure the courses are interactive, address real challenges youth workers face and foster enrichment and growth in the youth workers in which they mentor.
We work in partnership with Seed Skills Pty Ltd to currently offer the following accredited qualifications to our employees:
- CHC40313 Certificate IV in Child, Youth and Family Intervention
- CHC50313 Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention
Essential Criteria
Seek Skills Pty Ltd Trainers and Assessors must meet the following criteria.
- Hold a TAE40110/TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessment
- Hold a CHC50313 Diploma of Child, Youth and Family Intervention or higher-level qualification
- Have recent experience, or have maintained industry currency in the community services sector specifically youth or child focused services (experience in residential care settings highly desirable)
- Have participated in activities or professional development ensuring a solid understanding of current VET practices and requirements
- Valid or ability to hold Working with Children’s Check
