Welcome to Central Wagga Child Care! Our centre can cater for up to 60 children and is administered by our enthusiastic, fun-loving educators who have a passion for teaching! Wagga is a great community and we connect with local businesses, events, charities, schools and services to enrich the early education of the children in our care. Our exciting 'Healthy Children' program of events, activities, incursions and excursions involves our families and local community in a ‘village’ atmosphere which is inclusive and supportive to all.

Trainee Educator

About you

  • Committed to caring for children of all ages, cultures, social-economic and individual backgrounds
  • Willingness to learn to implementing and evaluating educational programs and practices across each room to ensure compliance with the EYLF and National Quality Standards
  • Able to contribute to a friendly, smooth and continuously improving centre environment, where children feel safe and families feel welcome
  • Passionate about creating exciting and stimulating children’s learning environments
  • Keen to learn how to manage daily care routines, and associated administrative and compliance tasks
  • Aware of the importance in maintaining health and safety standards, and risk minimisation

 You already have

  • Currently studying towards or willingness to study towards an approved Certificate III in Children’s Services (or ACECQA-approved equivalent)
  • Ability to obtain Working with Children check
  • Reliable transport to and from our centre
  • Hold a current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or willing to obtain one
