Due to unprecedented growth, SCIC Sydney is currently seeking qualified and dynamic teachers to join our busy CBD language college for morning shift or evening ESL programmes and/or relief teaching when our current teachers take annual leave.
Courses:
General English, High School Preparation and English for Academic Purposes.
Timetable:
Morning shift: 8.30 am – 2.15 pm, Monday to Thursday
Evening shift: 4.45 – 9.00 pm, Monday to Friday
Successful Candidate would need to :
- CELTA or TESOL (or equivalent) are essential
- Working with Children check (WWCC).
- be professional, dedicated, and passionate about teaching English to adult international students
- be understanding of the different learning styles that various cultures use.
- have excellent communication skills and an open dynamic approach to student-centred, communicative learning
- be organised and well-prepared for each and every lesson.
Please note that relief teaching position require an immediate start and our relief work means you might need to be available at short notice .
Newly-qualified teachers are very welcome to apply as training, mentoring and support is provided.
Non-native speakers of English should have proficiency in English equivalent to IELTS 8.5 or a pass in the Cambridge Proficiency examination.
