Bambini elc is a boutique Early Learning Centre located in Parkville. We are seeking a full time Art Teacher 38 hours per week. Art classes are held each morning, 8.30am-12.30pm, with program planning for 4 hours in one afternoon. This is a combined role and will also cover some program planning in the children's rooms in the afternoon.
Applicants must be passionate about Early Childhood Education and want to work in a creative and supportive environment.
You will be working in your own space in our beautiful Atelier (art studio).
The successful person needs to have knowledge of the Reggio Emilia philosophies and incorporate these into your daily programs. Our programs are designed to accommodate children from the age of 6 months to 5 years, and are linked to the Early Years Learning Frameworks.
Experience working with children is a must, along with a current working with children's check. A qualification in Early Childhood a must (plus Visual arts / Graphic design is desirable).
The centre is open 50 weeks of the year and closes for 2 weeks over Christmas. Our Educators are required to work during school holidays as the centre is open normal hours.
