Randstad are working with one of Australia's leading Universities on an innovative and creative new project to provide more options to Year 11 and 12 Students based in Sydney across TAS disciplines.
Leading classes of 15-25 students and working closely with partnership schools you will lead the delivery of a joint scheme to offer secondary STEM electives to High School students in the Sydney and Inner West areas. In its essence the collaboration allows students to pick electives that may not be offered at one individual school.
Based within the University Campus, you and the students will have access to state of the art facilities and equipment, access to academic and industry experts and work with new technologies.
As the teacher of this group you will also benefit from a professional development program offered by the University and be able to inspire the next generation of student in the TAS and Engineering space.
This is a part time position which will initially be one day per week.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Exceptional skills as a classroom practitioner
- Inspire curiosity and creativity
- Be registered or have the ability to be registered with New South Wales Education Standards Authority (NESA) and hold a NSW Working with Children Check (WWCC)
- Have the right to work in Australia
- Early career teachers, experienced and retired teachers are encouraged to apply.
