Senior Project Officer - Clerk Grade 9/10 - 208280 Full time temporary appointment till 29 July 2020 Location: Parramatta About the Department of Education The NSW Department of Education provides, funds and regulates education services for NSW students from early childhood to secondary school, delivering world-class education through its public schools and providing funding support to non-government schools. About the Directorate The National Initiatives and Performance Directorate develops cross-divisional policy proposals and strategic projects and pursues opportunities to leverage national policy reform in education, with the aim of positioning NSW as a national leader in policy and reform in education. It is also responsible for high level reporting against national performance and accountability processes to ensure milestones are met and to ensure the best possible national policy and resourcing outcomes for NSW. About the role We are looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Senior Project Officer to join our team. The Senior Project Officer works with Department staff, schools and external stakeholders to deliver innovation programs and other key projects to support the Department’s Education for a Changing World initiative. The role includes project management, stakeholder engagement and partnership development.
