We have an exciting opportunity for a talented leader to join a critical team in the Economic Policy, Enablers and Analytics Branch at the NSW Department of Industry.
We are seeking a strategic thinker with projects nous to lead project teams in planning and developing strategic programs and projects that support Jobs for NSW goals and plans. A key focus of this role is overseeing the team’s overall approach to project management.
You will be instrumental in developing strong links with central agencies within state, federal and local government and facilitating consultation with industry peak bodies. You will be actively involved in considering innovations in strategic programs, projects, and business processes.
We are looking for:
- You will possess solid stakeholder engagement skills, strong written and verbal communication skills, high attention to detail and sound project management abilities.
- The ability to lead and contribute to a range of strategic policy projects that identify market gaps and evidence-based policies and programs to respond to these gaps
- a willingness to facilitate a culture of achievement by providing direction, guidance, and support to staff

The Policy, Enablers and Analytics Branch leads the development of state and national skills and vocational education and training policy, and reform proposals represent NSW on peak state and national forums to progress economic and skills reform and ensure that NSW’s position is strongly presented
