Your new company
This Exceeding rated extended hours preschool, located on the North Shore Sydney, is looking for an experienced Diploma educator to join their team. The preschool caters for children between 3-5 years old, with state of the art resources and facilities as well as over the recommended ratio of staffing.
The preschool is attached to a highly regarded independent school that caters for early years to high school, which allows for children to have a smooth transition to kindergarten and utilise the primary school’s library and other facilities throughout the year.
The preschool uses a play and interest based teaching style, helping to prepare children, emotionally and socially, for school. Due to the over ratio of staffing in both classrooms, each educator has extended non-contact programming time to help develop and deliver targeted observations that demonstrate children’s development and learning cycle to families.
Your new role
As a Diploma qualified educator you will be confident working in a professional and collaborative environment, where each educator contributes to the program and brings new ideas and activities to the team. You will have excellent knowledge of the EYLF and a specific passion for the preschool age and delivering an engaging school readiness program.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma in Children’s Services
- Passion for school readiness and preschool age group
- Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A collaborative teaching style
