We are seeking an enthusiastic and committed part-tIme Classroom Teacher to complete our staff learning community in 2018. The successful applicant will share a class with our eLearning and IT Coordinator who will be released for 4 days per week. The successful applicant will demonstrate a commitment to the education of our students and have proven organisational abilities and initiative along with effective communication skills. A proven record using data informed and evidenced based pedagogies as part of their teaching would be considered essential. A clear understanding around curriculum implementation and the use of effective and expected practices at a classroom and school level is deemed necessary. Experience with one to one technology and mobile devices will also be advantageous. Employment Conditions:   Diocesan Catholic Education Employing Authorities in Queensland Single Interest Agreement 2015-2019 

The sucessful applicant will: 

• have a commitment to and understanding of the ethos and traditions of Catholic Education;
• hold current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers; and
• be eligible to work in Australia for the duration of the appointment.

This position involves working with children.  The appointment of successful applicants will be subject to satisfactory employment screening for child related employment in accordance with the law.
