Main Responsibilities
Leading the Education Team to achieve results and reporting to the General Manager, this role provides you with the opportunity to positively impact thousands of young people and teachers as you:
- build and maintain relationships with schools
- contribute to the development and delivery of training and resources for teachers, students and parents
- complete administrative tasks and lead a team of Education Consultants
Peer Support Australia supports schools in promoting wellbeing and a positive school environment by providing:
- training and professional development for teachers, students and parents across Australia
- student leadership and wellbeing resources
- consultancy support to schools to improve student wellbeing.
Essential Criteria
To be part of our enthusiastic team and contribute to the growth of the organisation you will have:
- demonstrated ability to lead a team of professionals to deliver KPI's
- demonstrated ability to work independently to promote products and services to schools and teachers
- highly organised with good analytical and problem solving skills
- experience working with or in the education sector and in leadership roles
- demonstrated ability developing and implementing training with excellent presentation and group facilitation skills
- well developed interpersonal skills, with an ability to interact effectively with stakeholders both internally and externally in a professional manner
- demonstrated ability to research topics and develop student resources
- candidate must hold a valid Australian drivers Licence, have approval to work with children and be prepared to undergo a police check.
