ABOUT THE ROLE
A position has arisen within the Knox Grammar School Boarding Team for an Assistant Head of Stage. This off site position is permanent, part time and will commence at the beginning of Term 3, 2018.
The commitment to the Boarders will be for three evenings (Monday to Friday) per week and every second weekend (Saturday and Sunday) to average around 22 hours per week.
The role requires:
- Experience or demonstrated interest in boarding
- Appreciation and understanding of what is important in a successful boarding environment for boys
- Ability to relate well to boys, staff and parents
- Self-motivation, flexibility, initiative and resourcefulness
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Support for the ethos of the Uniting Church
- An understanding of the issues and strategies around the Positive Education of boys
- A current First Aid Certificate
This role may be expanded into a full-time position if you possess teaching qualifications or co-curricular capabilities which can be utilised on any of the Knox campuses, should they align to business needs.
