Hall-Thorpe Sports is a local Outside School Hours Care Service in Toowoomba. They are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Operations Officer to manage the operational and legislative requirements of the daily activity programs. Excellent sports and creative arts based program. This OSHC service has been operating within local schools for over 11 years with a reputation for excellence. You will enjoy flexible working conditions in a supportive and caring work environment with fantastic staff.
 
Duties:

• You will be responsible for the smooth operation of an OSHC service including programs
• Ensure the service complies with state legislation, national quality standards, company policies and the Approved Providers instructions
• Work with OSHC Coordinators to ensure OSHC sites are prepared for, and comply with, the National Quality Framework
• Perform the duties of the Operations Manager in their absence
• Review and coordinate stock take of equipment and resources at each OSHC service
• Responsible for the purchasing for all services
• Clear understanding and implementation of Quality Improvement Plans
• Support the Operations Manager where required
• Various administrative tasks

About you:

• You will have a solid background within the childcare industry
• You will have a minimum Certificate III Early Childhood Education and Care or equivalent
• You will possess a strong eye for detail and exceptional organizational skills
• You will be forward thinking with excellent planning ability
• Be an excellent negotiator with exceptional conflict resolution skills
