Salary Level B: $98,229 per annum (plus 12% Super and 17.5% Leave Loading)

The School of Medicine, Sydney, is committed to developing and training excellent, caring and ethical doctors. We seek to provide excellence in medical education and training delivered in the context of Catholic faith and values, with respect for human life, dignity and social justice. The Medicine program is a 4 year Graduate Entry program. Students complete the first two foundation years at the School of Medicine, Sydney and the final clinical yeas at one of the metropolitan and rural clinical schools sites in NSW and Victoria.

The School is currently seeking to appoint an academic as Medical Education Development Officer to assist in the pursuit of this mission. The role will support teaching at all Clinical School sites, ensuring the consistency and capacity of curriculum delivery. The role will liaise with the Heads of Domain, Head of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Health Programs and Medical Education Unit staff to review and revise the learning objectives and associated learning resources. The role will also support the Rural Clinical School with delivery of the curriculum.

The successful applicant will be eligible for or hold registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency, and have experience in medical education and curriculum development.
