Trainer/Assessor – Aged Care & Disability Programs – Mildura
Due to recent expansion we are looking for a quality Trainer/Assessor in CHC43015 CIV in Ageing Support & CHC43115 CIV in Disability in Mildura
- Contract for the equivalent of two to three days per month to an established organisation with a genuine passion for learning where your expertise in Aged Care & Disability and enthusiasm will be greatly valued.

Our core market is the rapidly growing Community Services sector encompassing Aged Care, Disability, Community Care and the local Government sector.
We are looking for a highly passionate independent contractor to train, develop and support our students through their CIV in Ageing Support & Disability program. It will be overseen by our Education Manager based in Brighton, Melbourne.
The role
As an Independent Contractor you will be responsible for the delivery, facilitation and assessment activities for our CIV in Ageing Support & Disability program. This program requires the trainer/assessor to deliver face to face training 1 day every three weeks plus the equivalent of another 1-2 days a month for coaching, marking and placement/observation. Our next program is scheduled for a mid-September start, will conclude in approximately March-19 and is to be delivered in Mildura. We are growing so there is also the possibility of other future programs in this region that you might also like to train and assess, for example we are also planning a CIII Individual Support commencing in November 2018 which would run for 6 months and require 2-3 days per week.
Other responsibilities of the position include but are not limited to:
- Working in accordance with AQTF, VRQA, 2018-19 Standard VET Funding Contract Skills First Program and Warner Institute Policies & Procedures
- Providing training and assessment as per the relevant Warner Training & Assessment Strategy incorporating the Warner Whole Person Learning model … refer to our website.
- Managing the physical resources required for the delivery of the programs
- Completing documentation to support delivery and assessment
- Completing professional development and validation activities
- Regular meetings with our Education Manager
What you'll bring
- TAE40116 CIV in Training & Assessment or equivalent
- Appropriate Vocational Qualifications
- Relevant experience coordinating & delivering competency based education and training
- An engaged and enthusiastic approach to training
- Professional, reliable and dependable
- Be comfortable working autonomously
- Knowledge and understanding of AQTF standards and legislation specific to RTO operations
- Current Working with Children & National Police Checks
- Excellent written, oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Excellent organisational skills
- Microsoft Office Suite skills
