About Us-
Trinity Early Learning School in Alkimos is part of a small group of family owned Early Learning Schools which have been assessed as 'Exceeding National Quality Standards'.
Brand new to the area, we have already begun to become known in our community as a service delivering a high-quality play-based learning. The children's days are filled with fun, play, music, active adventures, art and laughter. We believe learning begins at birth, so we place emphasis on emerging literacy and numeracy, self-help, self-regulation and independence skills.
About You-
We are seeking a passionate and Qualified Certificate III Educator and Cook to provide delicious and nutritious meals for children and cover staff lunch periods. This different and exciting role, will allow the right person to share their joy and passion for healthy, tasty food while working closely with a highly qualified and experienced team.

Key Selection Criteria for this role include:
- Have an ACECQA approved Certificate III in Early Education and Care or higher qualification
- Food Safety and Handling Certificates
- A current Working with Children Check
- Demonstrated experience of menu planning and food preparation for groups of children
- The ability to ensure food and safety practices are adhered to at all times
- Plan and organise within set timeframes
- The ability to work in collaboration with sister service's cook to plan and develop nutritional rotating menus according to dietary needs
- Available between 8am and 1pm Monday to Friday, plus a few additional hours to source delicious, fresh produce
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- A bright and friendly personality
Your priorities will be to:
- Adhere to the service budgets at all times
- Preparation of meals, including but not limited to: morning tea, lunch, afternoon tea and late snack
- Periodically and seasonally review menu plans with our sister service's Cook and submit to the Head Office for approval to ensure they adhere to service budgets
- Follow menus on a 4 week rotation and display in an appropriate location within the service
- Ensure complete familiarity with special dietary needs of children within the service and cater to them at all times
- Maintain a high level of health & safety standards are maintained at all times
