The Division of Academic and Student Engagement drives the achievement of the University's strategic goals in relation to learning and teaching. This includes ensuring that students have a quality experience and investing in the ongoing professional development of academic staff.
The Division is comprised of five key portfolio areas led by: the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning); Pro Vice-Chancellor (International); Dean, Indigenous Research and Education Strategy; University Librarian and the Executive Director, Division of Academic and Student Engagement.
The Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning) portfolio area provides direction and leadership to ensure the University maintains education excellence and delivers a high-quality learning experience for each student. There is particular focus on quality assurance in learning and teaching and providing academic support for staff and students.
Located within Learning and Quality Support, you will provide support for the Learning and Teaching responsibilities within the portfolio of the Pro Vice-Chancellor (Student Learning), working in partnership with Faculties and Schools to support the external reviews of academic programs and academic units. Other aspects of the role include undertaking research and development of learning and teaching frameworks that support the University's Strategic and Operational Plan, as well as executive support to high level learning and teaching committees and working parties.
Salary: (HEO7) $85,105 to $95,231 per annum.
Superannuation: An employer contribution of 17% may apply.
Term of position: This continuing position is available immediately.

- Demonstrated, excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Capacity to build and maintain effective relationships across stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrated flexibility and ability to focus on the delivery of outcomes.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and as part of a team.
