We’re now recruiting!
We are looking for committed team members to join our brand new purpose-built childcare centre in the Peakhurst NSW. Smarties Early Learning Centre is a 48 place Centre catering for children from 0 to 6 years old.
The Role
We are looking for experienced Degree and Diploma qualified candidates. Successful applicants will have a positive and professional outlook, be willing to work in a close-knit team and be looking for a supportive work environment.
Our centre is committed to creating a warm, welcoming and nurturing environment for the staff, children and families of our service. The roles available are dynamic and the right candidates will be given the opportunity to forge a successful career under the guidance of a full time qualified Director.
We are recruiting:
1 x Degree Qualified Early Childhood Teacher
2 x Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator
Essential criteria
Successful candidates need to have a good understanding of the National Quality Framework, the National Quality Standard and the Early Years Learning Framework. They must:
- have either a Bachelor of Teaching/Education in Early Childhood or Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
- have strong written and verbal communication skills
- have the ability to build strong relationships with children, their families and co-workers
- have the passion and knowledge to develop and implement a high-quality children's educational program ensuring compliance with the Early Years Learning Framework's Principles, Practises and Outcomes
- be responsible for the guidance, support and general supervision of staff, students and volunteers at the Centre.
- ensure their compliance to the Centre's routines, policies, procedures, processes and practices.
- have the ability to create and maintain observations and records of individual children's progress
- hold a current Working with Children Check and First Aid Certificate
- be able to work collaboratively and cooperatively in a team environment
- be commitment to the holistic development of their students
- be well groomed and uphold the highest personal hygiene standards
