The Role of an Educator

• Report to a Coordinator
• Undertake a caring and collaborative approach
• Encourage play based learning, incorporating children's ideas and interests into planned experiences and routines.
• Work with the team to tailor each aspect of the service to engage, inspire and delight the children attending the service.

The Ideal Candidate

• Desire to work with children and demonstrated capacity to enhance their experiences
• Childcare industry knowledge and experience an advantage but not essential
• Experience working with and supporting teams to achieve results
• A work history demonstrating reliability, punctuality, enthusiasm, initiative and commitment
• Experience of supporting continuous improvement and change
• Apply for or hold a current Employee Working with Children's Check

Must work at least 3 afternoons per week: 2.30pm-6.00pm
