Guardianship Training and Development Officer To conduct learning and development analysis and to develop, coordinate, deliver and/or facilitate identified learning and development programs and opportunities to develop workforce capability to meet the needs of the Public Guardian and the delivery of business objectives. Key Responsibilities • Design, coordinate and/or deliver learning and development programs which support business objectives for the Guardianship Program. • Collaborate with partner agencies and other stakeholders to identify key capabilities and facilitate and/or deliver learning and development programs which support the strategic objectives of the Public Guardian. • Formulate and develop information, training material and presentations which support learning and development outcomes and builds workforce capability. • Develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of Guardianship and Administration Act 2000 and the Powers of Attorney Act 1998 and other relevant workforce and employee legislation and policies. • Investigate appropriate training channels, including online training, to facilitate comprehensive and timely training for all Guardianship staff. • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records and provide reports on learning and development data and information. • Prepare high quality written communication, including, but not limited to, succinct and well-researched briefing notes, reports, business cases and letters. • Build a positive and professional working relationship with staff and stakeholders relevant to the success of learning and development in the Public Guardian.
