As Deputy Principal at Ormeau Woods State High School you will assist in delivering the department's vision and offer leadership in improving student outcomes and foster positive relationships amid students, teachers and stakeholders.

About the Role

This role of Deputy Principal is vital in assisting the Principal to lead the school to a common shared educational goal, set high standards for both students and staff, provide curriculum leadership, form partnerships with the wider school community and manage resources effectively.

The successful applicant will be responsible for:

  • Providing instructional leadership and professional development to staff
  • Improving the educational outcomes of students in our school
  • Developing the quality of teaching and learning
  • Be futures oriented and strategic
  • Provide pedagogical coaching and/or staff mentoring
  • Manage resources to achieve goals
  • Nurturing positive relationships between students, teachers, the community and stakeholders.

Please note, Relocation and travel expenses are not available for this position.
