Fantastic community service organisation looking for a room leader in the West Pilbara region.
Your new company
This organisation is not-for-profit and works with communities in regional areas of Western Australia, providing high quality services to families living rurally. This childcare service based 40 minutes drive from Karratha is a beautiful open planned centre, offering childcare based around the Reggio Emelia and Steiner approaches, with the philosophy that children are responsible for their learning and development. The centre is a 60 place centre, with a huge outdoor play area, and 3 rooms which incorporate local culture in their every day programs.
Your new role
We are looking for 2 room leaders for a full time position at this lovely centre. You will be required to run the daily routines of room, as well as supporting staff, children and their families. You will be responsible for creating a safe, fun and loving environment for children to learn, as well as managing a team of educators. We are looking for educators who are looking to take the next step in their career who want to move up to a new and exciting managerial position.
What you'll need to succeed
- Diploma in Children's Services
- Working with children check
- Police check (issued within the last 6 months)
- Current First Aid accreditation including CPR & Anaphylaxis
- Work entitlement rights in Australia
- Must have experience working in childcare and have a genuine passion for educating children
- Excellent verbal and communication skills
- Ability to work in a team and autonomously to make important decisions
