An experienced Creative Arts Therapist/ Wellbeing Practitioner is required to be part of our wellbeing team and facilitate individual and group therapy/ counselling in a manner consistent with the mission, philosophies, goals and values of Woodleigh School for the purpose of supporting and promoting positive student wellbeing. This is a Long Service Leave replacement position for Term 4, working part time (0.7 FTE) at our Minimbah Campus.
The role is to:
- Deliver therapeutic services for students within the Minimbah school campus individually and in small groups
- Work collaboratively with other staff to support social & emotional learning of students and liaise with families as appropriate
- Work independently and as member a supportive and collaborative team environment
- Conduct conflict resolution and restorative practice sessions as appropriate with students
- Provide secondary consultation to teaching staff as appropriate
