The Opportunity

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering and assessing first aid unit such as HLTAID001, HLTAID003
  • Delivering and assessing fire safety units such as Fire Warden, Fire Extinguisher, Chief Fire Warden and evacuation drills
  • Participate in regular professional development 
  • Have access to the innovative teaching resources that are second to none in the industry.
  • Travelling metro Melbourne and surrounding suburb workplaces to facilitate. 

 

Our ideal candidate has:

  • Exceptional presentation skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Passion for education - this is life saving stuff!
  • Ability to show initiative and work independently 
  • Education and/or training experience would be preferred
  • Must have a background in firefighting or fire safety education or relevant experience
  • Holds a TAE40116 Certificate IV in Training and Assessing  (or willing to obtain)

 

The details:

  • We will supply all resources in the courses you will be delivering and how each you to facilitate to the best of your abilities! 
  • You must have a drivers license, a reliable car and a laptop (MAC preferred) 
  • You must be able to provide availability for at least 2 days per week
  • You will need to travel to multiple training locations across Melbourne
