JCU College
We now have a unique opportunity for a College Director and Principal to lead the JCU College. Based in tropical North Queensland at our Townsville campus, this fixed-term appointment will provide you the opportunity to enjoy a laid back tropical lifestyle whilst realising your career aspirations.
About the College
Established in 2015, the JCU College Pty Ltd is an established company wholly owned by James Cook University and provides pathways for international students to complete pre-tertiary qualifications enabling them undertake further studies at JCU. With an ambitious growth trajectory planned for the short-term, the JCU College offers opportunities to make a significant and valuable contribution.
What you can accomplish in this role
Providing strategic leadership and overall management of the College, you will not only ensure your students success and welfare but also directly contribute to the triple bottom line. Operating in a general management capacity, you oversee the academic, administrative, financial, business development and marketing operations as well as compliance with the regulatory environment governing education and international student welfare. With a direct reporting line to the JCU College Board, you will be a pivotal influencer and advocate who can deliver tangible outcomes for the College.
What you can bring to this role
You have a background in education management and leadership together with experience working at senior levels and delivering operational outcomes. Your ability to initiate, lead and implement change and identify business opportunities will ensure your success in this challenging yet rewarding role.
Experience in the international English language or academic pathways sector, or an international and multicultural environment will be highly regarded.
